5.2 Using the SCC Electronic Module
1. There are two buttons for moving up and down the polarization window of the SmartCrystal™ Cinema Polarizer Module :
- If the button with the UP arrow is pressed, the window of the SmartCrystal™ Cinema will rise and it will be ready for use in 3D mode.
- If the button with the DOWN arrow is pressed, the window of the SmartCrystal™ Cinema will lower into the system.
Note
If both buttons are pressed together (up and down), the movement of the Smart Crystal™ Cinema Polarizer Module will stop. Then, you can
either press the «UP» button to rise it, or press the «DOWN» button to lower it into the system.
2. There is also a key switch with two positions permits to keep the system open:
- If the key switch is in the “LOCK” position, the SmartCrystal™ Cinema Polarizer Module can be locked in the UP position and it can
not be lowered.
- If the key switch is in the “UNLOCK” position, then the window of the SmartCrystal™ Cinema Polarizer Module can be raised and lowered
as required using the UP and DOWN buttons.
3. A metallic handle allows the SmartCrystal™ Electronic Module to be easily removed from the SmartCrystal™ Cinema.
4. There are 4 four LEDs to indicate the following information:
LED number 1: Power supply (3V).This LED is green when the system is properly powered and off when the system is not powered.
LED number 2: This LED indicates if the temperature of the LCD is raised above the set value (not currently in use).
LED number 3: State of motor. This LED ashes green when the motorized component to raise and lower the window of the SmartCrystal™
Cinema Polarizer Module is working correctly and red when there is a problem with the motorized system.
LED number 4: State of fan. This LED is green when the fan is running and red when there is a problem with the ventilation system.
5. The NOC connector allows the system to be connected to a central network in order to retrieve information and perform remote operations
on the SmartCrystal™ Cinema (eg, intervention, monitoring, piloting, etc).
There are two different modes of use for the SmartCrystal™ Cinema :
Manual mode: the interface of the SmartCrystal™ Cinema Electronic Module directly controls the operation of the SmartCrystal™ Cinema system
► NOC mode: information and operations are automatically sent from the server via the central network.
