When intercom call rings a busy station (w/intercom btn):
1. The calling station receives ringback tone instead of busy tone. The
called station hears muted or reminder ring and their intercom
button LED starts flashing at the incoming CO line rate. This
indicates an incoming intercom call.
2. The called station can place the current CO call on hold by pressing
the HOLD button,
-or-
Place current intercom call on hold by pressing the HOLD button;
intercom call is placed on hold on the available intercom button.
3. The called station then presses the flashing intercom button to
answer incoming intercom call. When answered, the following
message displays on the called station LCD:
Sta XXX can be a programmed station name.

Answering an Intercom Call
Depending on the selected intercom operating mode, answer the
intercom call as indicated:
H
andsfree Mode (No LED) -- You will hear three bursts of tone and an
announcement.
Reply handsfree or lift the handset for privacy.
T
one Mode (LED On) -- You will hear repeated bursts of intercom tone
ringing and HOLD button slow flashes.
Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF button (SPEAKER button on IP
Phone) to answer.
-or-
Press the H-T-P button to the H mode to answer.
