KSU Installation
The XTS-IP Key Service Unit (KSU) consists of Cabinet 0 and optional Cabinets 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
The basic exterior of the XTS-IP System is shown in Figure 3-1.
Mounting Cabinet 0
The Cabinet is a metal frame cabinet designed for wall mounting. Use the mounting
template provided with the Cabinet to mark the location for the screws to mount the
Cabinet. The Cabinet must NOT be mounted directly on a masonry or dry-wall surface; in this
case a wooden backboard is required. Refer to Figure 3-2 for the distance between mounting
holes. Use the same procedure for mounting Cabinet 3.
