4 Select the flash datastore in the list and click the Edit virtul flash host swap cache propertities
icon.
5 Allocate appropriate space for host cache.
6 Click OK.
Configure Host Swap Cache with Virtual Flash Resource
You can reserve a certain amount of virtual flash resource for host swap cache.
Note This task is available only in the vSphere Web Client.
Prerequisites
1 Set up a virtual flash resource. Set Up Virtual Flash Resource.
2 If your host is in maintenance mode, exit the maintanence mode before you configure a host swap
cache
Procedure
1 Navigate to the host.
2 Click the Configure tab.
3 Under Virtual Flash, select Virtual Flash Host Swap Cache Configuration and click Edit.
4 Select the Enable virtual flash host swap cache check box.
5 Specify the amount of virtual flash resource to reserve for host swap cache.
6 Click OK.
