Managing Port Groups in the VMware Host Client
You can manage port group seings to congure trac management, enhance networking security, and
enhance performance." By using the VMware Host Client, you can add and remove port groups, examine
port group information, and edit port group seings, such as NIC teaming and trac shaping.
View Port Group Information in the VMware Host Client
In the VMware Host Client, you can view information about port group conguration, network details,
virtual switch topology, NIC teaming policy, ooad policy, and security policy.
Procedure
1 Click Networking in the VMware Host Client inventory and click Port groups.
2 Click on an item from the list of available port groups.
Information about network details, virtual switch topology, NIC teaming policy, ooad policy, and
security policy is displayed.
