Workflows for Managing Inventory Objects
The default workows for managing vSphere inventory objects are the workows included in the
vCenter Server plug-in workow library. The vCenter Server plug-in workow library contains workows
that you can use to run automated processes related to the vCenter Server and host management.
To access workows in the vSphere Web Client, make sure that you congure at least one running
Orchestrator server to work with the same Single Sign-On instance to which both vCenter Server and
vSphere Web Client are pointing. You must also ensure that Orchestrator is registered as a vCenter Server
extension. You register Orchestrator as a vCenter Server extension when you specify a user account that has
the necessary privileges to manage vCenter Server extensions. For more information, see Installing and
Conguring VMware vRealize Orchestrator.
N Only a predened set of vCenter Server workows are available by default in the context menu. You
can associate additional workows with each vSphere object. See Associate Workows with vSphere
Inventory Object Types,” on page 147.
