Import a Package Example
POST /api/packages imports a package.
curl Command
The following command imports a .zip file. This example uses the DukesBankApp.zip file which is
provided on the vRealize Automation virtual appliance. You can copy the file
from /usr/lib/vcac/tools/initial-config/sample-oob-content/DukesBankApp.zip using
WinSCP (Windows) or scp (Mac).
$curl --insecure -s -H "Content-Type: multipart/form-data" -H "Authorization: Bearer $token"
https://$vRA/content-management-service/api/packages -F "file=@DukesBankApp.zip"
To verify success of a package import, use vRealize Automation to view the imported items on the target
system.
