Prerequisites

Log in to the vRealize Automation console as an IaaS administrator.

Verify that you have account administrator access to vCloud Air subscription services.

Store User Credentials for vCloud Endpoints.
Procedure
1 Select Infrastructure > Endpoints > Endpoints.
2 Select New Endpoint > Cloud > vApp (vCloud).
3 Enter a name and, optionally, a description.
4 Type the URL for the endpoint in the Address text box.
The URL specifies the fully qualified host name or IP address of the vCloud Director server. The
address URL must be specified using either a FQDN format or an IP address, including the p# and v#
of the subscription, based on your vCloud Air account, in the following format:
https://p#v#-vcd-vchs.mycompany.com
For example:
The vCloud Air Management URL is not the URL of the vCloud Air Management Console. Rather, it is
the URL of the vCloud Director server that is used to manage a specific virtual data center (vDC).
Open the vCloud Air Management Console to get the Management URL for the Organization vDC.
a Log in to the vCloud Air Management Console using administrator credentials.
b Select the Organization vDC.
c Click the vCloud Director API URL link to display a link such as https://vcd-
vchs.mycompany.com:443/cloud/org/vCloudAutomation/.
d Enter the first part of the resultant link text, for this example
https://p2v5-vcd-vchs.mycompany.com:443, in the Address text box.
