Using your test user account, you request the service catalog item to provision a CentOS on vSphere
virtual machine.
2 Scenario: Log in to the Provisioned Rainpole Machine on page 389
Using the test user account, you log in to your successfully provisioned vSphere CentOS machine.
Scenario: Request Your Rainpole Virtual Machine
Using your test user account, you request the service catalog item to provision a CentOS on vSphere virtual
machine.
Procedure
1 Log out of the vRealize Automation console.
2 Log back in with the username test_user and password VMware1!.
3 Click the Catalog tab.
4 Click the Request buon to request a catalog item.
5 Enter verifying functionality in the Description text box.
6 Click Submit to request the catalog item.
7 Click the Requests tab to monitor the status of your request.
When the machine is successfully provisioned, the status message Successful appears.
What to do next
Log in to your provisioned machine.
Scenario: Log in to the Provisioned Rainpole Machine
Using the test user account, you log in to your successfully provisioned vSphere CentOS machine.
Procedure
1 Select Items > Machines.
2 Select the arrow next to the CentOS on vSphere item.
The provisioned machine appears under the expanded item.
