Table Of Contents
11 Click the IP Addresses tab to display the IP address data for the specied range address space.
If you imported the IP address information from a CSV le, the range name is generated as Imported
from CSV.
12 (Optional) Select IP address information from the Network range drop-down menu to lter IP address
entries.
You can display information about all dened network ranges, the network ranges imported from a
CSV le, or a named network range. Details include the start IP address, machine name, last
modication date and timestamp, and IP status.
What to do next
If you import IP addresses from a CSV le again, the previous IP addresses are replaced with the
information from the imported CSV le.
Create an External Network Profile
You can create an external network prole to dene network properties and a range of static IP addresses to
use when you use an existing network to provision machines.
You can optionally use the supplied internal IPAM provider or a third party external IPAM provider, such
as Infoblox, package that you have imported, congured, and registered in vRealize Orchestrator.
You can dene one or more network ranges of static IP addresses in the network prole for use in
provisioning a machine. If you do not specify a range, you can use a network prole as a network
reservation policy to select a reservation network path for a virtual machine network card (vNIC).
For information about creating an external network prole and using an external IPAM provider endpoint,
see “Create an External Network Prole by Using An External IPAM Provider,” on page 184.
Procedure
1 Specify External Network Prole Information on page 182
An external network prole identies network properties and seings for an existing network. An
external network prole is a requirement of NAT and routed network proles.
2 Congure External Network Prole IP Ranges on page 183
You can dene one or more network ranges of static IP addresses in the network prole for use in
provisioning a machine. If you do not specify a range, you can use a network prole as a network
reservation policy to select a reservation network path for a virtual machine network card (vNIC).

For information about how you can create an external network prole by obtaining IPAM address
information from a registered third-party IPAM endpoint such as Infoblox, see “Checklist for Preparing
External IPAM Provider Support,” on page 14 and “Create an External Network Prole by Using An

VMware internal IPAM endpoint.
