7 Enter a password in the Password text box.
8 Type the email address that vRealize Automation users can reply to in the Email Address text box.
9 (Optional) Select Delete From Server to delete from the server all processed emails that are retrieved by
the notication service.
10 Choose whether vRealize Automation can accept self-signed certicates from the email server.
This option is available only if you enabled encryption.

Click Yes to accept self-signed certicates.

Click No to reject self-signed certicates.
11 Click Test Connection.
12 Click Add.
Revert to System Default Email Servers
Tenant administrators who override system default servers can revert the seings back to the global seings.
Prerequisites
Log in to the vRealize Automation console as a tenant administrator.
Procedure
1 Select Administration >  > Email Servers.
2 Select the email server to revert.
3 Click Revert to Global.
4 Click Yes.
Configure Notifications
Each user determines whether to receive notications, but tenant administrators determine which events
trigger notications.
Prerequisites

Log in to the vRealize Automation console as a tenant administrator.

Verify that a tenant administrator or system administrator congured an outbound email server. See
Add a Tenant-Specic Outbound Email Server,” on page 145.
Procedure
1 Select Administration >  > Scenarios.
2 Select one or more notications.
3 Click Activate.
Users who subscribe to notications in their preference seings now receive the notications.
Customize the Date for Email Notification for Machine Expiration
You can specify when to send an email notication prior to a machine expiration date.
You can change the seing that denes the number of days before a machine's expiration date that
vRealize Automation sends an expiration notication email. The email noties users of a machine's
expiration date. By default, the seing is 7 days prior to machine expiration.
