Procedure
1 On a supported version of the RSA SecurID server, add the Directories Management connector as an
authentication agent. Enter the following information.
Option Description
Hostname
The host name of Directories Management.
IP address
The IP address of Directories Management.
Alternate IP address
If trac from the connector passes through a network address translation
(NAT) device to reach the RSA SecurID server, enter the private IP address
of the appliance.
2 Download the compressed conguration le and extract the sdconf.rec le.
Be prepared to upload this le later when you congure RSA SecurID in Directories Management.
What to do next
Go to the administration console and in the Identity & Access Management tab Setup pages, select the
connector and in the AuthAdapters page congure SecurID.
Configure RSA SecurID Authentication
After Directories Management is congured as the authentication agent in the RSA SecurID server, you
must add the RSA SecurID conguration information to the connector.

Verify that RSA Authentication Manager (the RSA SecurID server) is installed and properly congured.

Download the compressed le from the RSA SecurID server and extract the server conguration le.
Procedure
1 As a tenant administrator, navigate to Administration > Directories Management > Connectors
2 On the Connectors page, select the Worker link for the connector that is being congured with RSA
SecurID.
3 Click Auth Adapters and then click SecurIDldpAdapter.
You are redirected to the identity manager sign in page.
4 In the Authentication Adapters page SecurIDldpAdapter row, click Edit.
5 Congure the SecurID Authentication Adapter page.
Information used and les generated on the RSA SecurID server are required when you congure the
SecurID page.
Option Action
Name A name is required. The default name is SecurIDldpAdapter. You can change this.

SecurID
Select this box to enable SecurID authentication.
Number of
authentication

Enter the maximum number of failed login aempts when using the RSA SecurID token. The
default is ve aempts.
