Tool(SIDgen)radiobutton.
TochangetheSIDmechanismforaparticulartemplate,edittheadvanced
propertiesofthattemplateandswitchthemechanism.

Disabling Guest Customization
Bydefault,Stage Manageractivatesguestcustomizationwhenyoucreateanew
templateorimportatemplate.Youcandisableguestcustomizationintheadvanced
propertiesofunpublishedtemplates.(See“EditingBasicTemplateProperties”on
page 55.)ThisdisabledsettingisstoredwhenyouexportthetemplatetoSMBstorage
andimportit
backtoStage Manager.
Ifyoucreateatemplatebasedonanactivevirtualmachineinaconfiguration,the
templateretainsthecustomizationsettingoftheactivevirtualmachine.
