RefreshoptionandclickNext.

SelectAllusersifyouwanttoexecuteaglobalrefreshagainstallassignedusersin
the
desktoppool.IfyouselectedoneormoreusersyoucanselectThefollowing
usersifyouwanttherefreshtoapplyonlytospecificuserswithintheselected
group.
IfyouselectedtheSummaryorDesktopSourcestabyoucannowfilteryour
desktopsourceselection.SelectAllvirtualmachinesifyouwanttoexecutea
globalrefreshagainstalldesktopsinthepool.
IfyouspecifiedoneormoreindividualassigneddesktopsfromtheDesktop
SourcestabyoucanselectThefollowingvirtualmachinesifyouwantthe
refreshtoapplyonlytospecificsystemswithintheselectedgroup.
ClickNext.
6Schedulewhenyouwanttherefresheventtotakeplace(thedefaultis
settothe
currenttime,andthereforeimmediately).
Ifyouwantanycurrentlyconnecteduserstobeloggedoffassoonasthe
refresheventstarts,selectForceUserstologoff.
Ifyouwantthesystemtowaituntilauserhasdisconnectedbeforeinitiating
arefreshoftheirdesktop,selectWaitforuserstologoff.
7TheReadytoCompletepageisdisplayed.Thispageprovidesasummaryofthe
refreshtask,includingwhenthetaskisscheduledtostart
andhowmanyvirtual
machineswillbeaffected.
8Ifyouaresatisfiedthattheinformationdisplayedonthispageiscorrect,click
Finishtostarttherefresh.
To recompose a linked clone desktop pool
1FromwithintheViewAdministrator,clickDesktopsandPoolstodisplaythe
desktoppage.
2EnsurethattheInventorytabisselectedintheleft
paneandselectthedesktop
poolyouwanttorecompose.

OTEIfyouselectthisoption,connecteduserswillbenotifiedpriorto
disconnectionandgiventheopportunitytoclosetheirapplicationsandlog
out.ThenotificationmessagecanbeaccessedfromwithintheGlobalSettings
sectionoftheconfigurationpage.
