To create a customization specification
1InVirtualCenter,clickEdit>CustomizationSpecifications.
2ClickNewtocreateanewCustomizationSpecification.
3EnsurethatWindowsisselectedintheTarget
VirtualMachineOSdropdown
menu,andprovideanameandan(optional)descriptionforthecustomization
specificationinthefieldsprovided.ClickNext.
4EntertheNameandOrganizationyouwouldlikeassociatedwiththedesktops
createdintheautomatedpoolinthefieldsprovided.ClickNexttocontinue.
5 Selectone
ofthefollowing:
Usethevirtualmachinenameifyouwantthedesktopsinthepooltoderive
theirnamefromthenameassignedtoeachdesktopvirtualmachineduring
deploymentfromViewManager.Thisistherecommendedoption.
Useaspecificnameifyouwanteachdesktoptoderivetheirnamefroma
predefinedlabel.Ifyouchoosethisoption,itisrecommendedthatyoualso
selectAppendanumericvaluetoensureuniqueness.
ClickNext.
6EnterthelicensenumberfortheViewManagerdesktopoperatingsysteminthe
ProductIDfield,andspecifyifthisisasingleormultipleseatlicense.ClickNext.
7Enterandconfirmthelocaladministratorpasswordinthefieldsprovided.Click
Next.
8 Selectthelocaltimezonefromthedropdownlist.ClickNext.
9 (Optional)Youarepresentedwiththeopportunitytoprovide
