Individual Desktops
IndividualdesktopsaresinglevirtualmachinesthatcontainViewAgentandcanbe
accessedremotelybyViewManagerclients.Usersentitledtousethistypeofdesktop
willalwaysaccessthesamesystemeachtimetheyconnect.
Individualdesktopsareappropriateforuserswhorequireasingleuniquededicated
desktop,or
forhostingacostlyapplicationwithsinglehostlicensethatneedstobe
accessedbymultipleusersatdifferenttimes.
Individualdesktopsarenotpermanentlyassignedandcanbeentitledto,andaccessed
by,multipleusers.Therefore,theirusagemodelisidenticaltothatofaphysicalsystem
thatisshared
bymultipleaccreditedusers.
Deploying an Individual Desktop
1FromwithintheViewAdministratorinterface,clicktheDesktopsandPools
buttonandthenclicktheInventorytab.IntheDesktopspane,ensurethatthe
DesktopsandPoolstabisselectedandclickAdd.
