Manual Desktop Pools
Manualdesktoppoolsarepoolsofvirtualmachinesthataremanuallyconstructedby
theViewManageradministrator.Desktoppoolsofthistypecanbeeither:
Persistent—Usersareallocatedadedicateddesktopthatretainsalloftheir
documents,applicationsandsettingsbetweensessions.Thedesktopisstatically
assignedthefirsttimetheuserconnects,andisthenusedforallsubsequent
sessions.
Non‐persistent—Usersareconnectedtoadifferentdesktopfromthepooleach
timetheyconnect,andthereisnopersistenceofenvironmentaloruserdata
betweensessions.
