GlobalSettings Thissectionprovidesinformationabouttheglobalproduct

Tochangeasetting,clickEditandthenmodifyanyofthe
followingentries:
Sessiontimeout—Determinehowlong(inminutes)users
areallowedtokeepsessionsopenaftertheylogintothe
ViewConnectionServer.Thisfieldmustcontainavalue,
andthedefaultis600.
RequireSSLforclientconnections—DeterminesifSSLis
usedtocreateasecurecommunicationchannelbetween
ViewConnectionServerandtheclient.
Reauthenticateafternetworkinterruption—Determinesif
tunnelclientusercredentialsmustbereauthenticatedafter
anetworkinterruption.Thissettinghadnoeffectwhen
directconnectionisbeingused.
Messagesecuritymode—DeterminesiftheJMSmessages
passedbetweenViewManagercomponentsareencrypted.
IfasecurityserverexistsinyourViewManager
environmentandyouenablethissetting,youmusthavean

DirectconnectionforOfflineDesktop

Whentunnelingisenabled,alltrafficisroutedthroughthe
ViewConnectionServer.When tunnelingisnotenabled,
datatransferstakeplacedirectlybetweentheonline
desktophostsystemandtheof
flineclient.
RequireSSLforOfflineDesktopoperations—Inaddition
tospecifyingtherouteforcommunications,youcan
encryptthecommunicationsanddatatransfersthattake
placebetweentheOfflineDesktopclientandtheView
ConnectionServerbyselectingthischeckbox.
DisableSSOforOfflineDesktop
operations—Determinesifsinglesign‐onisenabledfor
OfflineDesktop.Whendisabled,usersmustmanuallylog
intotheirdesktoptostarttheirWindowssessions.
