This configuration requires DHCP or IP pools on the shared (vCenter Server, Web Console, and Internal)
network and the DB Access network. To handle internal management traffic, assign at least as many IP
addresses as the number of databases to the DHCP range or the IP pool. See “Data Director Networks, IP
Allocation, and Firewalls,” on page 15.
Limitations
Because all network traffic is carried by one network, you cannot isolate databases into different networks.
You also cannot separate internal traffic from other network traffic. Use this configuration only during
development.
