Cryptography
If your organization must conform to the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) for
cryptography, use the standards that VCM supports.
FIPS for Windows
For the following Windows platforms, VCM uses the Microsoft CryptoAPI and the Microsoft
Cryptographic Service Providers (CSPs), which is included with Microsoft Windows.
