The catalog allows you to upload, copy, move, and edit the properties of media files.

Upload Media Files
You can upload media files to a catalog. Users with access to the catalog can use the media files to install
applications on their virtual machines.
Prerequisites
Verify that the computer from which you are uploading has Java Plug-in 1.6.0_10 or later installed.
You are at least a catalog author.
Procedure
1 Select Catalogs > My Organization's Catalogs.
2 On the Media tab, click Upload.
3 Type the path to the media file path or click Browse, locate the file, and click Upload.
4 Type a name and optional description for the media file.
This is the name that appears in vCloud Director.
5 Select the destination virtual datacenter, storage policy, and catalog.
6 Click Upload.
The media file is uploaded to the specified location. You can click Launch Uploads and Downloads
Progress Window to track the progress.
