stepsfordisasterrecovery.Somestepsmightincludesubstepsinatreeformation.
Clicktheplussign(+)toexpandtheviewtoincludesubsteps.Clicktheminussign(‐)
toviewonlyhigh‐levelsteps.
Inadditiontorecoverystepsandsubsteps,othercolumnsofinformationappear.
The followinginformationappearsintherecoveryplan.Somefieldsareemptyuntila
recoveryplanistestedorrun.
RecoveryStep—Thestepsandsub‐stepstobeperformedduringtherecovery.
Status—Blankuntilarecoveryplanisrunortested.Whenastepissuccessfully
completed,thewordSuccessappearsintheStatuscolumn.
TaskStarted—Whenaplanisrunortested,thestartdateandtimeforthisstep
appear.
TaskCompleted—Whenaplanistestedorrun,thecompleteddateandtimefor
thisstepappear.
Mode—Describeswhetherthestepisrunningduringatestoranactualrecovery.
Recoverydescribesstepsthatarerunningonlyduringarecovery.Ifatestis
running,thewordTestappearsandappliestotestsonly.
To select which information columns appear on a recovery plan
1Right‐clickthetextbar.
2 Deselectthenameofacolumntoturnoff
viewingforthatcolumn.
OntheRecoverytab,atoolbaroficonsappears.Rollthecursorov ereachicontoseea
briefdescriptionoftheicons,whichenableactionssuchaseditingorexportingyour
recoveryplan.
To export the steps of a recovery plan
1ClicktheExporticonontheRecoveryStepstab.
2 Savethefilein
adirectoryusingafilenameofyourchoice.
ThereportexportsinXML, .doc,XLW,HTML,andCSVformats.
