To remove a recovery plan
1Inthenavigationbar,selecttheplantodelete.
2OntheSummarytab,clickRemoveRecoveryPlan.
3ClickYestoconfirmanddeletetheplan.
Configure Virtual Machines in a Recovery Plan
TheVirtualMachinestaballowsyoutoviewandconfigurethevirtualmachinesthat
thisrecoveryplanincludes.
Toconfigurevirtualmachinesinarecoveryplan,thefollowingconditionsmustbein
place:
VIClientmustbeconnectedtotherecoverysite.
TheroleofRecoveryPlansAdministrator.
To edit virtual machine properties in a plan
1OntheVirtualMachinestab,clickEdit.
2ClickBrowsetoviewtheavailablecustomizationspecifications.
3Clickthearrowandselectthecustomizationpropertytoapplytothevirtual
machine.
Toconfigurethisoption,acustomizationspecificationmustbecreatedusingthe
VIClientonthe
recoverysite.Ifnospecificationsareconfigured,themessage“No
availableCustomizationSpecificationfound”appears.
4ClickOK.
5SpecifythedefaultrecoverypriorityandclickNext.
Recoverypriorityisapropertyofavirtualmachine,notarecoveryplan.The
recoverypriorityofavirtualmachinecannotbechangedafterithas
beenmade
partofarecoveryplan.
6Addmessagesandcommands,removeorreorderstepstobeperformedbefore
poweron.
