appearontheSummarytab:
EditRecoveryPlan—Modifytheplannameanddescription,protectiongroups
thatareincludedintheplan,virtualmachineresponsetimes,networktouse
duringplantesting,andlocalmachinestobesuspendedaspartoftherecovery
plan.
RemoveRecoveryPlan—Deletetherecoveryplan.
TestRecoveryPlan—Runatestoftherecoveryplan.
RunRecoveryPlan—Runtherecoveryplan.
Edit a Recovery Plan
Youcanmodifytheplannameanddescription,protectiongroupsthatareincludedin
theplan,virtualmachineresponsetimes,networktouseduringplantesting,local
machinestobesuspendedaspartoftherecoveryplan,andmessagesandcommands.
Toeditarecoveryplan,thefollowingconditionsmustbe
inplace:
TheVIClientmustbeconnectedtotherecoverysite.
TheroleofRecoveryPlansAdministrator.
To edit a recovery plan
1OntheSummarytab,clickEditRecoveryPlan.
2ModifytheplannameordescriptionandclickNext.
3Modifytheprotectiongroupsincludedintherecoverysiteifneededandclick
Next.
4Modifytheresponsetimesforthevirtualmachinesintherecoveryplanifneeded
andclickNext.
5Modifythenetworksyouoriginallyspecifiedfortestingtheplan.
Whenyouarefinished,clickNext.
6Modifythelocalvirtualmachinestosuspendifarecoveryoccursorduringa
recoverytest.
7ClickFinish.
Therecoveryplanismodified.Whenyouselecttheplanagaininthe
Inventory,
yourchangesarereflectedintheSummarytab,Historytab,andRecoverySteps
tab.
