DataSourceName—TheDSNyouwanttouseforthisinstallationofSRM.
ClickODBCDSNSetuptoviewexistingDSNsorcreateanewone.
Username—AuserIDvalidforthespecifieddatabase.
Password—ThepasswordforthespecifieduserID.
ConnectionCount—Theinitialconnectionpoolsize.Connectionsinthispool
arecreatedbytheSRMinstaller.Iftheseconnectionsareallinuseandanew
oneisneeded,itiscreatedifdoingsowouldnotcausethenumberof
connectionsspecifiedbyMaxConnectionstobeexceeded.It
isfasterforSRM
touseaconnectionfromthepoolthantocreateanewone.
MaxConnections—Themaximumnumberofconnectionstoopentothe
databaseatonetime.Ifyourdatabaseadministratorhasrestrictedthenumber
ofconnectionsthatthedatabasecanhaveopen,thevalueyousupplyhere
mustnotexceedthatnum ber.
