The vSphere Migration troubleshooting topics provide solutions to problems that you might encounter
during the vCenter Server migration process.

View Migration Assistant Logs and Status Files
You can use Migration Assistant log les and status les to troubleshoot migration failures.
If the migration fails, Migration Assistant generates a log le bundle on your desktop.
Procedure
1 Navigate to your desktop folder and open the VMware-MA-logs-time-of-migration-attempt.zip le,
where time-of-migration-aempt displays the year, month, date, hour, minutes, and seconds of the
migration aempt.
2 Retrieve the log les from the .zip le on your desktop.
3 Retrieve other log les and status les.
