3 Type a path and lename or click Browse and navigate to the le.
4 Adjust the length of the event list to meet your needs by increasing or decreasing the value (the default
is 300 events) in the Record at most eld.
5 Click OK.
Configuring Log File Email Recipients
Use vCenter Server Heartbeat to email the log to specied personnel at predetermined intervals.
Procedure
1 To congure vCenter Server Heartbeat to email a copy of the log le, select the Mail Log File tab.
2 Select the Mail Every check box and congure the day and time to send the log le.
3 To specify the recipients, click Add on the top left of the email recipient eld and type the email address
in the Add Mail Address dialog.
4 To remove a recipient, select the recipient’s email address in the Mail Log File pane and click Remove.
5 Click OK.
