Configure Event Log Files
vCenterServerHeartbeatallowsyoutoconfigureEventLogfilestodirectwherethelogfileisstoredandthe
numberofeventstoberecorded.
To configure default settings for log files
1ClickLogs:ConfigureandselecttheGeneraltabtodefinethefilenameandpathoftheexported
comma‐separatedvariable(CSV)file.
2Typeapath
andfilenameoruseBrowseandnavigatethefile.
3Adjustthelengthoftheeventlisttomeetyourneedsbyincreasingordecreasingthevalue(thedefaultis
torecord300events)intheRecordatmostfield.
4ClickOK.
Configure Log File Email Recipients
