TheAMFxprovidesadditionalfunctionswhilemaintainingthetraditionalstabilityofVMwaresoftware.Use
theAMFxtoinstallandremoveplug‐insontheflywhilevCenterServerHeartbeatcontinuestoprovide
protectiontocurrently
installedapplications.
TheAMFxalsoemployssponsorshipforprotectedapplicationfilesandservices.Withsponsorship,multiple
plug‐inscansharefilesorservices.Whenremovingaplug‐in,sponsorshippreventsremovalofasharedfile
orservicethatisstillrequiredbyaremainingplug‐in.
