Stage ManagerservicesareconvertedtoorganizationsofthesamenameinLab Manager.Each
organization
isassignedthesameresourcesandusersasStage Manager.Inaddition,duringtheupgrade,Lab Manager
createsaDefaultorganizationandassignsallStage Managerusersandresourcestothisorganization.
Workspaces
Stage ManagerstagesareconvertedtoLab Managerworkspacesusingthesamename.Theconfigurationsin
eachworkspacearesharedtoallusersintheworkspacewithfullcontrolaccess.
Lab Managerdoesnotpreservetheorderofthestageswhenitcreatestheworkspaces,butyoucanmove
configurationsfromoneworkspaceto
anothertoachievethesameeffectaspromotinganddemotingthemin
Stage Manager.
EachorganizationinLab Managercanincludeadefaultworkspace,whichhasspecialcharacteristics.
During theupgrade,Lab Managersetsthefirstworkspacealphabeticallyasthedefaultworkspace.
