Setting Up a FQDN for the Server
Youmustuseafullyqualifieddomainname(FQDN)toensurecertainLabManager
featurescanwork.ThisrequirementdoesnotmeanthattheLabManagerServer
systemresidesinadomain.
To set up a FQDN for the server
1OnthedesktopofthetargetLabManagerServer,right‐clickMyComputerand
choosePropertiesfromthemenu.
2OntheComputerNametab,clickChange.
3ClickMore.
4EntertheprimaryDNSsuffixofthecomputer(forexample,vmware.com).
