To modify resource pool properties
1Intheleftpane,clickResources.
2MovethepointerovertheresourcepoolandselectProperties.
3ModifythepropertiesandclickOK.

Undeploy All Virtual Machines in a Resource Pool
Systemadministratorscanundeployallvirtualmachinesassociatedwitharesourcepoolto,forexample,
performmaintenance.Undeployingaffectsanyoneusingthevirtualmachinesandcanresultinpartially
deployedconfigurations.Youmustmanuallyredeploytheundeployedvirtualmachines.Whenyouselect
UndeployallVMs,thevirtualmachinesaresuspended
buttheirstateissaved.
Thisoperationundeploysthevirtualmachinesonallhostsintheresourcepool.Toundeployallvirtual
machinesonaspecifichost,see“UndeployAllVirtualMachinesonaHost”onpage 93.
To undeploy all virtual machines in a resource pool
1Intheleftpane,clickResources.
2Movethepointerovertheresourcepooland
selectDisable.
3ClickOK.
4MovethepointerovertheresourcepoolandselectUndeployAllVMs.
FortheGlobalorganization,Lab Managerundeploysallthevirtualmachinesdeployedonhostsinthe
resourcepool.Forotherorganizations,Lab Managerundeploysonlythevirtualmachinesfrom
configurationsdeploy edbyusersintheselected
organization.

Detach a Resource Pool
Beforeyoucandetacharesourcepool,youmustdisableitandundeployallvirtualmachinesassociatedwith
