Deploymentleaseforworkspaceconfigurations.
Storagelease.
Fencingpolicy.
Description,bootsequence,andbootdelayforindividualvirtualmachinesintheconfiguration.
For workspaceconfigurations,youcanalsochangethenamesofindividualvirtualmachines.
3ClickOK.
Change Ownership of a Configuration
Theownerofaconfigurationistheuserwhocreated,captured,orarchivedit.Ifyouhavesufficientrights,you
canchangetheowner.
To change ownership of a configuration
1MovethepointerovertheconfigurationnameandselectProperties.
2ClickChangeOwner.
3 SelectanorganizationanduserandclickOK.
Ifyouassignanownerin
anorganizationotherthantheoneinwhichtheconfigurationwascreated,make
surethattheneworganizationhastheresourcesrequiredtodeploytheconfiguration.
4ClickOK.
Lab Managerreassignstheconfigurationtothenewownerintheprimaryworkspaceoftheselected
organization.
Upgrade Virtual Hardware in a Configuration
Lab Managerconfigurationscanincludeversion4andversion7virtualmachines.Ifaconfigurationincludes
version4virtualmachines,youcanupgradethesevirtualmachinestoversion7.Version4virtualmachines
canrunonhostswithESX3.5andabove,whileversion7virtualmachinesrequirehostswithESX4.0
and
above.
Beforeyoucanupgradeavirtualmachinetoversion7,youmustinstallthelatestversionofVMwareTools.

Whenyouupgradevirtualhardware,Lab Managerdiscardsstateinformationanddeletesanysnapshots
associatedwiththevirtualmachines.
Toupgradeconfiguration
