This methodallowsyoutousetheLDAPserversexistinguserandgroupinformation,withoutrecreatingthis
informationinLabManager.YoucanalsocreatelocalusersfromtheWebconsole.
Asystemadministratororan
administratorwithrightsattheorganizationlevelcanaddusersorgroupstoan
organizationandassigneachuserorgrouparoleintheorganization.Theorganizationdetermineswhich
resourcesauserhasaccessto,andtheroledetermineshowausercaninteractwiththeseresources.
Users cannotlog
intoLabManageroraccessanyresourcesuntiltheyareaddedtoanorganization.

Bydefault,onlysystemadministratorsandadministratorswithrightsattheorganizationlevelcanimport
users.YoucanimportusersthatexistonanLDAPserverorusersthatyoucreatedfromtheWebconsole.

theleftpane,clickUsersandGroups.
2IntheOrganizationdropdownmenu,selecttheorganizationtowhichyouwanttoaddtheuser.
IfyouselectGlobal,thisuserisavailabletoallorganizations.
3OntheUserstab,clickImportUsers.
4 DeselecttheShowExistingUsers/Groupscheckbox.
Deselectingthisoptionallowsyoutosearchforuserswhoarenotmembersoftheselectedorganization.
5Typethename(completeorpartial)oftheuserthatyouwanttoaddandclickSearch.
