To set the maximum time for deployment and storage leases
1Intheleftpane,clickSettings.
2ClicktheResourceCleanuptab.
3 Choosethedeploymentleasemaximumsforworkspaceconfigurationsandvirtualmachinetemplates.
4 Choosethestorageleasemaximumsforworkspaceconfigurations,virtualmachinetemplates,andlibrary
configurations.
5 Choosewhethertodeleteormarkfordeletionconfigurationsandtemplateswithexpiredstorageleases.
6ClickOK.
Configuring vCenter Settings
ThevCentertabdisplaysthesettingsforthevCenterServerassociatedwithLab Manager.FromthevCenter
tab,youcanreconnecttothevCenterServerandchangethevCenterServerlogininformation.
Reconnect to a vCenter Server
IfLab ManagerlosesitsconnectiontothevCenterServer,Lab Managerattemptstoreconnectperiodically.
If youwanttoconnectimmediately,youcanforcetheconnectionprocess.
To reconnect Lab Manager to vCenter Server
1Intheleftpane,clickSettings.
2ClickthevCentertab.
3ClickOK.
Lab Managerattemptstore‐establishaconnectionwiththevCenterServer.
Change the vCenter Server User Name and Password
IftheusernameandpasswordforyourvCenterServerchangesoriftheaccountyouarecurrentlyusingdoes
nothavethenecessaryvCenterprivileges,youcanchangethelogininformation.Formoreinformationabout
therequiredvCenterprivileges,seetheVMwarevCenterLab ManagerInstallationandUpgradeGuide.
To change the vCenter Server log in information
1Intheleftpane,clickSettings.
2ClickthevCentertab.
3TypeanewusernameandpasswordforthevCenterServerconnection.
4ClickOK.
Lab ManagerattemptstoestablishaconnectionwiththevCenterServerusingthenewcredentials.
