2MovethepointeroverthetemplatenameandselectProperties.
3IntheNetworkInterfacespanel,click
AddInterface.

4EditthevirtualNICsettings,ifnecessary.
a DeselecttheConnectedcheckboxtodisconnectthevirtualNIC.

Theavailableoptionsarebasedonthenetworktemplatesthatyouownorshareandthephysical
networksavailabletoyourorganization.

TheprimaryNICsettingdeterminesthedefault,andonlygateway,forthevirtualmachinesbasedon
thetemplate.ThesevirtualmachinescanuseanyNICtoconnecttoothermachinesthataredirectly
connectedtothesamenetworkastheNIC,but
itcanonlyusetheprimaryNICtoconnectto
machinesonnetworksthatrequireagatewayconnection.
ConsiderthisbehaviorwhenselectingaprimaryNIC,especiallyifyouplantodeployconfigurations
thatusefencingorconnectvirtualnetworkstophysicalnetworks.
