To reassign the objects of all stranded users
1Intheleftpane,selectUsersandGroups.
2 SelecttheStrandedUserstab.
3ClickAssignAllToMe.
4ClickDeleteAllEmptyUserstodeleteuserswithnoobjects.
Reassign Ownership of a Stranded User’s Objects
Whenyoudisableanorganization,allitsusersarestranded.Youcanreassigntheobjectsforastrandeduser
inanorganization.
To reassign the objects of a specific stranded user
1Intheleftpane,selectUsersandGroups.
2 SelecttheStrandedUserstab.
3MovethepointerovertheusernameandselectAssignResourcesToMe.
4Movethepointer
overtheusernameandselectDelete.
Managing Groups
GroupsandtheirusersaredefinedintheLDAP.LabManagersynchronizeswiththespecifiedLDAPserver
tomakesureitisuptodateonthecurrentusersandgroups.LabManagerdoesnotsupportnon‐LDAP
groups.
Remove a Group from an Organization
Whenyouremoveagroupfromanorganization,otherthanGlobal,thegroupisstillavailabletotheother
organizations.Removinggroupscanresultinstrandedusers.See“ManagingStrandedUsers”onpage 111.
To remove a group
1Intheleftpane,selectUsersandGroups.
2 SelecttheGroupstab.
3IntheOrganizationdrop‐downmenu,
selecttheorganizationfromwhichyouwanttoremovethegroup.
4MovethepointeroverthegroupnameandselectRemove.
5ClickOK.
