Bydefault,asystemadministratorsandadministratorswithrightsattheorganizationlevelcanremoveauser
fromanorganization.Whenyouremoveauserfromanorganization,theybecomestranded.See“Managing

To remove a user from an organization
1Intheleftpane,selectUsersandGroups.
2 Selecttheorganizationfromwhichyou
wanttodeletetheuser.
3ClicktheUserstab.
4MovethepointerovertheusernameandselectRemove.
5ClickOK.
Lab Managerremovestheuserfromtheorganization.
Delete a User from Lab Manager
Whensystemadministratorsdeleteauserfromtheentireinstallation,Lab Managerremovestheuserfromall
organizations,deletesalltheprivateobjects(forexample,media,undeployedconfigurations,andvirtual
machinetemplates)oftheuser,andreassignsthesharedobjectstothesystemadministratorwhoiscurrently
loggedin.
To delete a user from Lab Manager
1Intheleft
pane,selectUsersandGroups.
2 SelectGlobal.
3ClicktheUserstab.
4MovethepointerovertheusernameandselectDisable.
5ClickOK.
6MovethepointerovertheusernameandselectDelete.
7ClickOK.
Lab Managerdeletestheuserfromtheentireinstallation.
Modify User Properties
Bydefault,onlysystemadministratorsandadministratorswithrightsattheorganizationlevelcanmodify
userproperties.ForLDAPusers,youcanonlymodifytheusersrole,storedvirtualmachinetemplateand
libraryconfigurationquota,anddeployedvirtualmachinetemplatequota.Becausethesepropertiesare
specifictoanorganization,auser
whoisamemberoftwoorganizationscanhaveadifferentroleorquotain
eachorganization.
To modify user properties
1Intheleftpane,selectUsersandGroups.
2 Selecttheorganizationforwhichyouwanttomodifytheuserproperties.
SelectGlobaltomodifytheuserpropertiesforallorganizations.
3ClicktheUserstab.
4MovethepointerovertheusernameandselectProperties.
