To change ownership of a media file

2MovethepointeroverthemediafilenameandselectProperties.

Lab Managerreassignsthemediafiletothenewowner.
Restrict Access to Media Files
WhenyouaddmediafilestotheLabManagermedialibrary,thefilesaresharedwithallLabManagerusers
inallorganizations.Ifyouaretheownerofamediafile,orifyouruserroleincludestheAdministratorView
andControlright,youcanlimitaccesstoamedia
filebymodifyingitssharingproperties.
Dependingonyourrights,youcanrestrictaccesstousersinaspecificworkspaceororganization.
Whenyoushareamediafile,youcan specifyaccessrightsfortheuserswithwhomyouaresharingthemedia.
Accessrightscombinewiththerightsprovidedby
auser’sroletodeterminehowthatusercaninteractwith
thesharedmediafile.Accessrightscannotprovideuserswithrightsthattheydonotalreadyhavebasedon
theirrole.
To modify media sharing properties
1Intheleftpane,clickMedia.
2MovethepointeroverthemedianameandselectSharing.
TheSharing
Mediadialogboxdisplaystheusersandorganizationsthatcurrentlyhaveaccesstothe
mediaandtheirlevelofaccesscontrol.
3ClickRemovetostopsharingthemediawithauserorgroup.
4ClickAddUserstosharethemediawithauserorgroup.
5 Selecttheorganizationcontainingtheuserswith
whomyouwanttosharethemediaorselectGlobalto
viewusersfromallorganizations.
6 Selectwithwhomyouwanttosharethemedia.
EveryoneinOrganizationsharesthemediawithallusersintheselectedorganization.
EveryoneinWorkspacesharesthemediawithallusersintheselectedworkspace.
SelectedUserssharesthemediawithspecificusersintheselectedorganization.
Selectthecheckboxnexttoeachuserwithwhomyouwanttosharethemedia.
