Undeploying Virtual Machine Templates with Force
Ifstandardundeployoperationsdonotwork,Lab Manageradministratorscan
forcefullyundeployavirtualmachinetemplatetocleantheLab Managerdatabase.An
exampleofthiskindofsituationiswhenanESXhostgoes offlineorsomeonemanually
removesavirtualmachinefromVirtualCenterinventory.
TheForceUndeployoptionisvisible
evenwhentheUndeploy,Undeploy‐SaveState,
orUndeploy‐DiscardStateoptionsareavailable.Althoughitisintendedforspecial
circumstances,theForceUndeployoptionproducesthesameresultsasthe
Undeploy DiscardStateoptioninstandardcircumstances.
