specifycannotbelongtothenetworkIPpool.However,ifyouwanttouse
fencing,youmusthaveIPaddressesintheIPPoolforuse
asvirtualmachine
externalIPaddresses.
7IfyouchoseastaticIPaddressingmode,specifythestaticmodesettingsandIP
pool:
aTypethesubnetmask,defaultgateway,primaryDNS,secondaryDNS
(optional),andDNSsuffix(optional).

AllowFencedOnlycheckboxtorequireuserstodeployconfigurations
usingthenetworkinfencedmode.
Chooseafencingmode:
AllowInandOutVirtualmachinescancommunicatewithmachines
outsidethefenceandmachinesoutsidethefencecancommunicatewith
virtualmachinesinsidethefencedconfiguration.
AllowOutVirtualmachinesinafencedconfigurationcaninitiate
communicationtomachinesoutsidethefence,andcanreceivemessagesback
onthesameconnection.Machinesoutsidethefencecannotinitiate
communicationtovirtualmachinesinsidethefencedconfiguration.
BlockInandOutNetworktrafficdoesnottravelacrossthefence.Virtual
machinesinafencedconfigurationcannotcommunicatewithmachines
outsideofthefence,andmachinesoutsidethefencecannotcommunicatewith
virtualmachinesinthefencedconfiguration.
