newrole.
To copy a role
1Intheleftpane,clickRolesandRights.
2MovethepointeroverarolenameandclickCopy.
3Typeanameforthenewrole.
4 (Optional)Enteradescriptionfortherole.
5Assign
rightstotherolebyselectinganddeselectingthecheckboxesnexttoeach
right.

6ClickOK.
ThenewroleappearsontheRolesandRightspage.Youcannowassignthisroleto
usersandgroups.
Deleting Roles
Bydefault,onlyadministratorscandeletearole.Youcannotdeletetheadministrator
role,orarolethatiscurrentlyinuse.
To delete a role
1Intheleftpane,clickRolesandRights.
2IftheOrganizationscolumnlistsanyorganizationsfortheroleyouwanttodelete,
viewtheorganizationpropertiesandeitherreassign
userstoadifferentrole,or
removetheusersassignedtotherole.
3MovethepointerovertherolenameandchooseDeletefromthemenu.
4Confirmthedeletionoftherole.
Modifying Role Properties
Bydefault,onlyadministratorscanmodifyroleproperties.Youcanchangethename,
description,orrightsofarole.Theadministratorroleistheonlyrolethatcannotbe
modified.
