TheGroupstabincludestheseelements:
Name–Displaysaniconnexttothegroupnameinthiscolumn.
Description–DisplaysoptionaldescriptivetextabouttheLDAPgroup.
Role–FortheGlobalorganization,displaysAdministratorforgroupsassignedto
theadministratorroleandadash“‐”forothergroups.Forallotherorganizations,
displaystheroleassignedtothegroupwithintheselectedorganization.
InSyncWithLDAP–Agreencheckmarkindicateswhetheragroupisinsync
withLDAP.IfagroupisdisabledordeletedinLDAP,itisoutofsync,whichis
indicatedbyaredX.
Auserwhoisamemberofanout‐of‐syncgroup,and
isnotamemberofanyother

Bydefault,onlyadministratorsandorganizationadministratorscanimportLDAP
groups.
To import an LDAP group
1Intheleftpane,clickUsersandGroups.
2 SelecttheorganizationtowhichyouwanttoaddthegroupintheOrganization
drop‐downmenu.
ChoosetheGlobalorganizationtomakethegroupavailabletoallorganizations,
butassignedto
none.Youcanassignittoorganizationslater.See“Managing
Organizations”onpage 157.
3IntheGroupstab,clickImportGroups.
4 DeselecttheShowExistingUsers/Groupscheckboxtolimityoursearchtousers
andgroupsthatarenotalreadyintheorganization.
