Changing the Networks in a Configuration
YoucanaddnetworkstoandremovenetworksfromWorkspaceconfigurations.You
cannotaddorremovenetworksintheLibrary.
Adding a Network to a Configuration
Virtualmachinesinaconfigurationcanconnecttoanynetworkincludedinthe
configuration.Ifyouwanttoconnecttoadifferentnetwork,youmustfirstaddthe
networktotheconfiguration.
Youcanalsoaddanetworktoaconfigurationthatnovirtualmachinesconnectto.
To add a network to a configuration
1OntheWorkspacepage,
movethepointerovertheconfigurationnameandchoose
Openfromthemenu.
2ClicktheNetworkstab.
Thepagedisplaysthenetworkscurrentlyavailabletovirtualmachinesinthe
configuration.
3ClickAddNetwork.
4 ChooseanetworkandclickOK.
Thelistofnetworksincludesphysicalnetworksavailabletoyourorganization,as
well
asvirtualnetworksyouownoraresharedwithyou.
Youcannoweditthepropertiesofavirtualmachineintheconfigurationtousethe
newnetwork.See“ModifyingVirtualMachineNetworkInterfaces”onpage 49.
Removing a Network from a Configuration
Youcanremoveanetworkfromanundeployedconfigurationtopreventvirtual
machinesintheconfigurationfromusingthenetwork.Youcanonlyremoveanetwork
thatisnotusedbyanyofthevirtualmachinesintheconfiguration.
To remove a network from a configuration
1OntheWorkspacepage,movethepointerovertheconfigurationnameand
choose
Openfromthemenu.
2ClicktheNetworkstab.
Thepagedisplaysthenetworkscurrentlyavailabletovirtualmachinesinthe
configuration.
