Creating Configurations
AconfigurationusestemplatescreatedbyyouorprovidedbyLab Manager.Youmust
publishthetemplatestomakethemavailableforbuildingconfigurations.
Creatingaconfigurationinvolvesdefiningconfigurationpropertiesandaddingvirtual
machinestotheconfiguration.
To define configuration properties for a new configuration
1Intheleftpane,clickWorkspace.
2ClicktheNewConfigurationbuttonatthetop
ofthepage.
3IntheDefineConfigurationPropertiesarea,completethesetasks:
aEnteranamefortheconfiguration.
b (Optional)Enteradescriptionoftheconfiguration.
c (Optional)Changethenetworkinginformationforthegateway,netmask,and
DNSsettingsforthevirtualmachines.
dSpecifyatimetodeletetheconfigurationormarktheconfigurationfor
deletion.Thisoptionformarkingorpermanentdeletionispresetbyan
administrator.
