installVMwaretoolsthroughthemouseovermenuonthevirtualmachine
console.
TheselectionofthischeckboxactivatestheLMToolsInstalledcheckbox
becauseyoucannotrunLMToolswithoutVMwareTools.
LMToolsInstalled–SpecificationofwhetherLMToolsisinstalledonthe
template.
IfyouuninstallLMToolsmanually,failtoinstallLMToolsproperly,orimport
atemplatethatwasnotpreviouslyexportedfromLab Manager,youmight
needtoselectthischeckboxbecauseLab Managerisunabletodetect
whether
LMToolsexistsinthesecircumstances.
SelectingthischeckboxcausesLab Managertopasstherequiredinformation
totheLMToolsutilitytocustomizenetworksettings.Ifyouhaveatemplate
withLMToolsbutyoudonotselectthischeckbox,LMToolsrunsbutfailsto
customizethe
networksettings.
Afterselectingthischeckbox,theInstallLMToolsbuttonnolongerappears
onthevirtualmachineconsole.YoucanstillaccesstheoptiontoinstallLM
Toolsthroughthemouseovermenuonthevirtualmachineconsole.

mechanism.

templatesuseSysprep,regardlessoftheselectionyoumakehere.
