To uninstall LM Tools on a Windows guest operating system
UsetheAddorRemoveProgramswindowintheControlPaneltoremoveLMTools.
IfyouuninstallLMToolsinavirtualmachineenvironment,LabManagerisisolated
fromandunawareofthatoperation.MakesuretodeselecttheLMToolsInstalled
checkboxthatisautomaticallyselectedafter
installingLMTools.
To deselect the LM Tools check box
1Intheleftpaneoftheconsole,clickTemplates.
2Movethepointeroverthenameofthetemplate,andchoosePropertiesfromthe
menu.
3 DeselecttheLMToolsInstalledcheckbox.
4ClickOK.
Publishing a Template
Publishingatemplatemakesitavailableforuseinbuildingconfigurations.
To publish your template
1Verifythetemplateisturnedoffandundeployed.
2Ifdeployed,movethepointeroverthetemplatenameandchooseUndeployinthe
menu.WaituntilthetemplatestatuschangestoUndeployed.
3FromtheTemplatespage,movethepointeroverthe
templatenameandchoose
Publishinthemenu.
Ifyouedityourmachinetemplate,youmustrepeatthestepsofinstallingLMTools
(page 58)andpublishingyourtemplate.
Sharing a Template
Sharingatemplateallowsotheruserstodeployyourtemplateanduseitin
configurations.
To share a template
1Fromtheleftpane,clickTemplates.
2Movethepointeroverthetemplatename,andselectMakeSharedfromthemenu.
