Filter–Showsasubsetofthetotalnumberofstorageservers.LabManager
matchesthetextenteredinthefieldtotheleftofthebuttonagainsttheattribute
dataofthesearchobjects.Entriesarenotcase‐sensitive.
Thefiltertextsearchdoesnotrecognizewildcards.Ifyouenter
atraditional
wildcard,suchasanasterisk(*),thisfunctionperformsaliteralsearchforan
asterisksymbol.
Type–IndicateswhetherthestorageserverisanSMB,SAN,orNASserver.
Reachable–IndicatesthattheLabManagerServercancommunicatewith
(“ping”)thestorageserver.
Enabled–Indicateswhetherthestorageserverisavailableforcapturing
configurations.
Ifthestorageserverisnotreachable,itisnotenabled.
Used/Capacity(GB)–Displaystwonumbers(separatedby”/”).Thefirstnumber
indicatestheamountofdiskspaceyouuse.Thesecondnumberindicatesthetotal
amountofdiskspace.
%Used–Displaysthepercentageofuseddiskspace.
MountPoint–Showsthedirectorytoaccessthestorageserveraftermountingit.

AdministratorscanmovethecontentsofaSAN(VMFS)storageservertoanother
server.Undeploythevirtualmachinesonthestorageserverbeforestartingthis
operation.Thevirtualmachinesthatyouaremovingareinaccessiblefortheduration
ofthemove.

enabled,movethepointerovertheSANandchooseDisablefromthe
menu.
