Theleftpanelinthepagepresentstheseoptions:
Ifyoudonotselectanyoption,youcanstillseetheoutlineofeachManagedServer
thatyouhavealicensefor.
YoucanclickaManagedServertoviewmachinedetailsinthebottomoftheleft
panel.Thesedetailsincludethename,machinetype,CPU,localdisk,and
version
oftheManagedServeragentsoftware.
IfyouselecttheShowDeployedMachinescheckbox,theredboxesoneach
ManagedServerindicatesdeployedvirtualmachines.Ifyouselectabox,thecolor
turnstoyellowwithcross‐hatching.
Afterselectingadeployedvirtualmachine,additionalinformationappearsinthe
lowerleftpanelbelowthemachinedetails
ontheManagedServer:
FromtheMachinetab,youcanaccessinformationonthevirtualization
technology,virtualmachinetype,operatingsystem,andstorageserver.
Toaccessthevirtualmachineconsole,clickthethumbnailicon.
FromtheOwnertab,youcanaccessinformationabouttheownerofthe
configuration,thedeployedandstoredvirtualmachinequotasetbythe
Administrator,andthenumberofdeployedvirtualmachines.
FromtheConfigurationtab,youcanaccessmoreinformationaboutthe
configurationanditsowner.
Whenyouselectthistab,theManagedServersystemsdisplaytheother
virtualmachinesintheconfigurationasyellowboxes.Theoriginalvirtual
machinethatyouselectedretainsthecross‐hatchingdesign.
Youcandeployvirtualmachines
inaconfigurationondifferentManaged
Serversystems.ThistabprovidesCaptureandUndeploybuttonstoperform
theseoperationsontheconfiguration.
IfyouselecttheShowAvailableSlotscheckbox,thelight‐blueboxesoneach
ManagedServerindicatesavailableslotsforvirtualmachines.
IfyouselecttheShowTypescheckbox,ESXappearsnexttoalltheManaged
Serversystems.
