Procedure
1. Log in with a local administrator account.
2. Select Start > Administrative Tools > Computer Management.
3. On the left, navigate to Computer Management (Local) > System Tools > Local Users and Groups >
Groups.
4. On the right, double-click Administrators.
5. Click Add.
6. For the object name, type the domain and account name, separated by a backslash.
For example: mydomain\vcmadmin
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK, and close the Computer Management window.

Log in as the VCM administrator. See "Log in as VCM Administrator" below.
Log in as VCM Administrator
Before you start the VCM Installer, log in to the Windows machine with the VCM administrator domain
account.

Add the VCM administrator domain account as a local Windows machine administrator. See "Add
VCM Domain Accounts as Local Administrators" on the previous page.
